Filing Requirements
Please provide the following information and documents for review.

| Applicant details | Full name, address, telephone number and email address; incorporation information where the applicant is a company. |
| Designer details and entitlement | If the applicant is not the designer, provide the designer’s full name, address, telephone number and email address, together with the relevant employment contract or deed of assignment. |
| Design representations | Clear images or drawings showing the relevant views: Perspective View, Front View, Back View, Left View, Right View, Top View and Bottom View. |
| Product indication | An indication of the product to which the design applies. |
| Classification | The relevant product Class and Sub-Class. |
| Description | A description of the design. |
| Representative appointment | A notarized ID-2 appointment of representative in PDF format. |
| Priority claim | Supporting documents where priority is claimed. |
| Translations | Translations where required. |
ID-2: A notarized PDF copy is sufficient for our filing process. No endorsement or original hard copy is required. We provide an ID-2 draft following our initial review.
Registration Procedure
Application and examination: The application is filed with the Myanmar Intellectual Property Department (IPD) and examined against the applicable filing requirements. Amendments or responses may be required during examination.
Publication and opposition: Applications proceeding through examination are published for opposition in accordance with the applicable procedure. Any opposition is addressed through the relevant proceedings.
Registration and certificate: Where registration is granted, the decision is recorded and published, and an industrial design registration certificate is issued.

Requirements and review: Send us the applicant details, design images or views, description and product or classification information. We review the proposed filing and confirm the necessary documents.
Invoice and ID-2 draft: Following our review, we send an invoice and a draft ID-2 for execution and notarization.
Payment and instructions: Once payment, the notarized ID-2 PDF and filing instructions have been received, we prepare the application draft.
Application draft for approval: We send the draft for your review and confirmation before filing.
Filing and reporting: Following your confirmation, we file the application and email the filing receipt once available. We communicate office actions, deadlines and any further instructions required in a timely manner.
