BONJOURMyanmar’s Intellectual Property Agency has announced that applications to establish copyright or related-rights collective management organisations may be submitted from 16 July 2025.
The IPD published the commencement announcement on 17 July 2025 and further application guidance on 18 July 2025. The guidance explains the submission channels and documentation for organisations seeking permission to operate as CMOs.

- Review the rules for establishing a copyright or related-rights collective management organisation.
- Prepare the prescribed application and supporting organisational documents.
- Follow the official guidance on submission to the IPD, including the electronic filing channel where applicable.
